With over 11 years of experience across turf, mining, and international venues, Jimmy brings a diverse and hands-on background to the team. Originally from Mount Gambier, SA, his turf career began with apprenticeships at Mount Gambier and Warrnambool Golf Clubs before heading to Royal County Down in Northern Ireland. Following a successful stint in the mining sector—rising to Supervisor—Jimmy returned to turf at a Mackay-based turf farm and later joined Harrup Park (now Great Barrier Reef Arena), where he prepared world-class playing surfaces for international cricket and AFLW events. His deep knowledge of warm- and cool-season grasses, soil health, and passion for innovation make him a strong addition to the Brisbane team.
